I had an infection that lead to the "proxy server" error message when trying to use the internet. I was able to get rid of it by using Malwarebytes, with the full scan taking more than usual (about 40 mins). Once restarted, however, my PC started acting suspicious. Some programs will not start, explorer.exe is very sluggish, and I'm getting the " unable to execute file in the temporary directory error 5" error.
