This appeared on my screen after trying to boot and recover my Asus from 2009 running windows 7 I believe. I want to fix and update to 8.1. I've seen this blue screen twice that says to check for viruses. Then remove any hard drives or hd controllers. Then check hd to see if it is properly configured and terminated. Finally it says to run CHKDSK/F to check for hd corruption and then to restart my computer. How do I do these things from this screen? Also there is a long code at the bottom I don't understand.
