hello guys,

so i've looking to get a desktop fan for my computer as i spend a lot of time there....I visited a few Shops and finally came across to something like that http://www.ebay.com/itm/NEW-Mini-Portable-USB-Powered-Desktop-Cooling-Desk-Fan-Laptop-Computer-Quiet-/130742153321?pt=US_Laptop_Cooling_Pads&hash=item1e70d6f069 and bought it without a second thought...when i got the chance to test it i found out that it did a highly disturbing sound which made me throw it across my room :D i would like to know if there's a fan which would be dead silent AND to look good...

This one is quite quiet.. Silent may not e possible.

How do I get help? Who is helping me?For the time will come when men will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear....Become a BleepingComputer fan: Facebook

No such thing as a "silent fan", IMO.  Moving air causes noise...moving air is what a fan does.
