New Computer w/ Windows 8.

Problem:

When I start my computer after shut off, my mouse does not 'scroll' the selected page 'up or down' AND it will not activate the 'up or down' arrow on the right side of the page I am on.

To correct this, I must go to System Restore and restore my computer to an earlier date.

After this, everything works fine.

I have gone to the Device Manager and ensured that I have the newest drivers.

Please advise if you have any reasons that this is happening OR if you have any solutions.

Thanks for your time.

Follow up.....

I was on the phone for about 2 hrs with the Lenovo Cust Svc Rep and he tried everything he could using remote access.

He was able to see the problem after a reboot and concluded that he couldn't fix it.

So, I was transferred to Post-Sales Rep and am now being sent a new computer.

I was able to continue to use the old one until I receive the new one.

I strongly recommend the Lenovo Group for its speed and great Customes Svc.  Most other computer manufacturers would require you to send in the computer and wait for a fix.

Lenovo sent a prepaid label for return, gave me instructions of how to wipe my computer to factory and was fast and courteous in all of the conversations I had with them.

I have an Order # as well as a Ship / Receive date for the new unit.

Great Company and Great Service.

1.  Tech Rep used HIS mouse while on Remote .. same thing.

2. I tried 3 different mice ...same thing.
