Hello Bleeping Computer Community!

Would like to know if anyone has received the following notice from their anti-virus suite:

"C:\Windows\SysWOW64\SAsrv.exe detected as potentially malicious"

I'm running Windows 7 Pro on a Lenovo W520 laptop, and I've gotten the above notice several times.  Looked on Microsoft and they have NOTHING related to the above.  Also checked on Bitdefender's Web site to no avail.

Can anyone tell me what "Windows\SysWOW64\SAsrv.exe" does or is?

Can I remove it from Windows?

Or do I need to reload Windows to be on the safe side?

Thank you!

Do you have something from Conexant Systems, Inc. installed on your system?
