Hi I have several services running from Manufacturer SafeNet, Inc:

  • Sentinel HASP License Manager
  • Sentinel Keys Server
  • Sentinel Protection Server

I've stopped these services with no adverse affects but I'd like to know why they are there in the first place.
I googled a bit but to no avail.

I just Googled it and found a ton, it is security software.  It says it is loaded with admin rights, someone had to install it.  It may come with an online banking package.

Thanks OldPhil. I must not have searched very well. Seems to either be associated with online banking like you said or cloud services. Thanks.
