I have DAW software that only runs on Windows 98. It always was OK, even though there is also a version on XP on the machine. I was always given the opportunity to choose which OS I wanted to use. Fuuny thing, XP enables all the USB ports, but 98 did not.

Anyway, I recently moved the nachine to another place to test a bad monitor. Now I get this 1782 disk controller error. Any ideas? There are 2 external HDs. Only one is hooked up. Also have received imminent failure message intermittently.

Thanks in advance.
