  1. I would appreciate advice for best "free" virus protection.  Have been using Avast.  An IT professional suggested Microsoft Security Essentials.  Comments?
  2. Also, my desktop PC and recently my laptop have gotten so slow, programs take several minutes to load. What should I do?
  3. Lastly, my Intel Graphics Accelerator driver keeps going out (it recovers, but I can't seem to download the correct one - I have a Compaq Presario laptop)

I'm not a newbie PC user, but technology has sort of passed me by! :)
