I do not use the registry cleaning function of Advanced system care, and I have disable the function that would do it automatically, so it shouldn't be a registry problem.
I will uninstall those programs one at a time and let you know if anything changes.
I have already tried running a boot time check disk, no problems were found. The Intel SSD toolbox indicates my SSD is fine, and Western Digital's diagnostic utility claims the HDD passes all SMART tests (both quick and extended).
The lack of free space is nothing new, but I will see about freeing up some more.
EDIT 1: Have around 18GB free on C now, falls w/ in the minimum range.
EDIT 2: So, I have yet to uninstall any of the listed programs, I was waiting to see if the error it still present after freeing up space... I hasn't happened since a bit before I cleaned up the partition. Unfortunately, that doesn't mean anything... yet.
I'll let you know if it happens again during the next few days. If not, I guess I'll just have to keep a closer eye on my free space.
It is kind of strange that the problem came up now though, I've consistently had less than 10GB of space on my OS partition for at least a year, possibly more...
EDIT 3: And wouldn't you know it, less than a minute after my second edit, explorer crashes again... So, uninstalling programs it is...
EDIT 4: Uninstalled all of those programs, restarted, issue still present. Not to surprising since those have been installed for most of the current OS installation.
