I got a new cable modem, and I was wondering if there's any settings or anything to check on it? Like if I got a new router, I would log into the router and set a bunch of stuff. Can you do that with a modem? Can I ping the modem or browse to it? It's a Cisco DPC3000.

It appears you don't configure it like a router.

Hope this helps thumbup.gif
