How do I view .png images?

I have Windows 7 and have tried the Google search answers using Windows photo viewer and Paint... neither work. I'm a bit leery of the free downloads listed in ads.


Any help is greatly appreciated.

Any graphics editor...or a program like Irfanview...will see this file format.
