I did it on windows 7 but forgot how to do it. I would like seperate windows instead of using one stacked upon another.

Right click on the Task bar and choose the option Show windows side by side.

Family and loved ones will always be a priority in my daily life.  You never know when one will leave you.

Thank you but I meant on my task bar, I like to have multiple windows open. Right now when I right click open a new window it stacks on a single window, and have to hover over it to see the open windows. I tried your method and it splits the window on the screen. Basically like when I had windows xp.

Right-click the taskbar and click on Properties.  In the drop-down menu under Taskbar buttons, choose either Combine when taskbar is full or Never combine.
