Its called PFPortChecker by PortForward.com. During the installation I hit accept on 1 of the 3 I guess options or ads to install something I didn't intend to which led to the infection of the malware in the title.

Good evening. :)

I'd like you to post the other DDS log that should have been created alongside the one that's already posted. If you don't have it, run DDS again and paste the contents in your next reply.

So long, and thanks for all the fish.

Good evening. :)

Let's start by uninstalling PFPortChecker 1.0.39, rebooting the PC and seeing if that has a positive effect on things.

So long, and thanks for all the fish.

So long, and thanks for all the fish.

Good evening. :)

Are you having the same issues with Firefox or just IE?

So long, and thanks for all the fish.

It just happens with Internet Explorer.

Everytime malwarebytes removes it, a message comes up from my WinPatrol asking me if I want to accept or reject the changes but it doesn't matter because it forces the computer to accept it.

Will you uninstall WinPatrol, reboot the PC and then run MBAM again and allow it to fix the item and then see if it stops away this time - it may be WinPatrol blocking the action.

So long, and thanks for all the fish.

Ok I uninstalled WinPatrol and ran the malwarebytes scan, it removed it. I restarted my computer and ran the scan again and.. it said my computer is clean. I opened up Internet Explorer and its not redirecting me to that page by search conduit it either.

Should I reinstall WinPatrol? it seems like a good program to keep.

Good evening. :)

Yes, that's fine. One of it's tasks is to stop unexpected registry changes but unfortunately it doesn't always know what you require, which is why it's sometimes best to temporarily uninstall it.
