how to network window server 2000 to windows 7

Hi people, i have a network which is windows 7 but now am trying to join my window server 2000 but the window server 2000 could not see my network and likewise the windows7 network could not too. what can i do please

Make sure they are in the same Workgroup and
Open the Administrative Tools in the Control Panel in your Windows 7 (NOT the network drive server)
Open the Local Security Policy
Select the Security Option under Local Policies
Choose Send LM & NTLM responses in Network security: LAN manager authentication level.
