G,day to all,its my first time here,,so im still a bit lost,,,my name is Adrian ,im 40 ,and live in rural Southern Highlands NSW Australia with my wife and 2 kids ,while i wouldnt say im a pc wiz,,i think i know my way around to a fair degree(lol...famous last words ha ha )but i gotta tell ya that spyware (spywarequake and adware.spysheriff) has just about got me climbing the walls,,you spend a fortune on a new pc,, the latest norton protection, and adaware software, only to have these slippery little buggers climb under the wire,,as im writing this theres a little flashing symbol on my task bar ...virus alert virus alert..i've tried everything i know and some things i didnt to get this garbage out ,,but to no avail,, if its a consellation i did happen to send both companies an email(wether they'll get them i dont know)with an assortment of some very colourful language, just to let them know i think they're a cancer on the pc world and im going to tell everyone i know and some i dont, not to buy they're crap...any how that still doesn't solve my problem so if any of you good people could assist me in getting this spyware out of my pc i would be most gratefull and so would my daughter,(mid year 12 exams)from what i can gather its Adware.SpySheriff and SpywareQuake..
kind regards to all

BC has prepared some very good self-help removal guides for these two nasties (among many others).

Spysheriff and its relatives:

Just follow the step-by-step instructions, and you should be able to clean your computer of both.
