A few hours ago i downloaded the ZoneAlarm Firewall from a link here. I was just recently browsing around in My Computer and now everytime when I go into my Local Disc (D:) it pops up to something called PC Angel.

Here's a link to the image:

Pc Angel LE is a hard-disk based disaster proof Backup & Rescue/Recovery software. The program takes a 5-second snapshot of the current system registry each time the PC boots up. In the event of a crash, Pc Angel will retrieve everything up to the minute before the crash or the last known stable registry.

PC Angel is a good program if you dont:

A) Backup your drive
 Want to dual boot linux
C) Alter any registry files it protects

It has caused me more problems then saved me headaches (as I am a firm believer in backing up data and a dual boot linux user)

Its a leigit program that comes on most eMachines and Gateway comps. Dell perfers GoBack from what I know.

It usually stays out of sight until there is a problem (or thinks there is)

If anyone wants to try dual booting linux w/ PC Angel let me know I have a few tricks on how to do it w/o having to deal w/ PC Angel
