Or do I have a problem?

Good Morning and Happy Easter to you all.

My XP Pro machine keeps telling me that there are updates

to instal every time I shut down.

This happens every time, even if I shut down during the day

and again at night, most times I am told that there are 30 files

to instal, but not always, the number sometimes varies.

I never got updates for years and when I heard that MS were

sending updates before the cut-off date, I switched it on and

they started coming and coming and coming, maybe they are

giving me all the old ones that I missed.

Or do I have a small problem somewhere in my system?

Strange.

Mike.

Turn off the auto-update feature...visit the Microsoft/Windows Update site and download any critical security updates reflected.
