Hi, my name is Greg. I'm a high school student who has possibly screwed up pretty hard.
Earlier this morning, my Avast started acting up, giving me the "Threat has been detected." message over and over. I took the fourth time it did this as a warning sign and did a scan. After the scan, it told me everything was a-okay, but the messages didn't stop.
So I installed malware bytes, which started giving me its own messages. I ran a scan there; it cleaned stuff out, I restarted, and the messages continued to pop up.
A scan with Hitman Pro yielded the same results.
Such messages still plague my troubled computer's soul now. Here are the pictures of each one.
Something I believe I should mention about the avast warnings is that they are duplicate messages in terms of two. Basically, there's two of each of them. I don't know if that's important, but every bit of information helps, I'd assume.
There has been no drop in performance for the computer itself, but that, I believe, doesn't detract from the severity of the problem. Whether it's the NSA or Fred the teenager down the street matters to me not, I don't want people spyin' on mah junk.
Any help with this issue would be greatly appreciated, thanks!
*Edit* I've also tried removing a pesky something or other from my computer called incredibar, which I now realize is linked to all sorts of nasty stuff.
