I can't connect to anything which uses SSL; websites, online video games. Pretty much all of my online videogames which I try to connect to (Diablo 3, League of Legends, Path of Exile, Guild Wars 2) are giving me invalid certificate errors, as well as all https websites. I use Mozilla Firefox, and google.com gives me this error:
Secure Connection Failed An error occurred during a connection to www.google.com. Peer's certificate has an invalid signature. (Error code: sec_error_bad_signature) The page you are trying to view cannot be shown because the authenticity of the received data could not be verified. Please contact the website owners to inform them of this problem. Alternatively, use the command found in the help menu to report this broken site.
This error first began yesterday; I was going to go to paypal.com to sign in, but I mistyped it as paypall.com. I have WOT and kaspersky and some other things and they informed me I made a horrible typing mistake, but maybe I got a virus or something from paypall.com? My security programs and whatnot redirected me out of paypall.com but when I tried to go to paypal.com, this is the first instance where I had the Secure Connection Failed error. The error which I get from paypal.com and other websites are all exactly the same error message as above, sec_error_bad_signature.
-Kaspersky Pure 3.0
-Scanned computer with: Malwarebytes, Spy-bot S&D, adwcleaner, JRT (Junk Removal Tool), Kaspersky 3.0 vulnerability scan and full scan, sfc /scannow in cmd
-When using safe mode with networking I am able to connect to https websites (google, paypal, etc.)
-My computer time, date, and timezone are all correct.
-I use Mozilla Firefox and I have IE (don't really use IE but I need it for SQL Management Studio and Visual Studio's team viewer)
-In IE if I go to google.com and hit continue anyways after it tells me the certificate is bad, and click on the error icon in the URL, after installing the certificate for google.com (which it says is an OK certificate), it still shows the bad certificate icon.
-In League of Legends: when I submit my username/password it throws the bad certificate error, after clicking View Certificate and installing the new certificate with the Certificate Import Wizard, it says the certificate is successfully installed but I still cannot connect to the game server.
-Other online videogames and Steam: They don't give me the certificate error, they give me different individual errors which I've looked up and are all connection issues.
-Diablo 3: Error: Hmm, something went wrong with a security certificate. Please try restarting the Battle.net app. If that doesn't help, you should contact your network administrator. Sorry about that!
