Repairable connection??

Upon dismantling my Aspire I managed to pull of a connection. As best as I can tell there should be a black pushdown piece at the top?????  Its the connection for the touchpad so it's not essential for the computer operation but I rarely use it as a desktop computer so a usb mouse is not really an option. Any tricks of the trade that I might be able to use would be much appreciated. Here is what i'm talking about:

Computer details: Aspire 5810z Pentium running W7, 32 bit system.
