I was told that the Android could turn off alerts for email, text, games, even phone calls for certain times. I know I could just switch to airplane mode if I wanted but I do need to be able to get calls from certain people even at night.

Is there a way to turn off email, and text during certain hours?

I'm using a Note 3 by the way.

Thanks!

I believe the most common way is to "buy" (could be free, which is why I put it in quotes) an App from the Google Play Store that will do that. From doing some simple Google searches I got a number of suggestions that would likely work. I cannot recommend something specific as I am not currently using an Android device (my HTC Evo 4G died about three years ago and I switch to an iPhone since), but someone else might come along and recommend something.

I don't believe Android has something built-in to do it, but I could be wrong. The last Android version that I used was 2.3, so things have changed quite a bit since then.

Thanks BC,

I'm poking around in the app store now. I didn't even consider that an app was made that could fix this. I thought it would be something in settings.

I know this is late, but have you taken a look at: Nights Keeper https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.nightskeeper&hl=en
