Hi  I am Njfriendware,

just recently I had a virus on my computer. I think I removed the virus but each time I try to open a word, excel or pdf file it says my files are corrupt.  Has anyone come across this problem before and fixed it.  If I create a new file they open fine. I even tried opening the file on another computer and had the same problem. The exact message is there is problem with the contents. Now all of my documents are corrupt. any suggestions?

Sound like a Cryptolocker variant. You need to repost this in Am I infected? What do I do? or go to the Virus, Trojan, Spyware, and Malware Removal Logs forum.
