Soooooo my computer crashes with this error :

crash dump file: C:\Windows\Minidump\040414-19624-01.dmp
This was probably caused by the following module: ntoskrnl.exe (nt+0x4ADB3C)
Bugcheck code: 0x124 (0x0, 0xFFFFFA8007AE5038, 0x0, 0x0)
Error: WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR
file path: C:\Windows\system32\ntoskrnl.exe
product: Microsoft® Windows® Operating System
company: Microsoft Corporation
description: NT Kernel & System
Bug check description: This bug check indicates that a fatal hardware error has occurred. This bug check uses the error data that is provided by the Windows Hardware Error Architecture (WHEA).
This is likely to be caused by a hardware problem problem. This problem might be caused by a thermal issue.
The crash took place in the Windows kernel. Possibly this problem is caused by another driver that cannot be identified at this time.

- -- -
Now If i am just doing work or surfing the web the PC is fine.

When I play CS:Go and South Park the Stick of truth - It works fine (No crashing or BSOD)

Now when I play Titan Fall it will sometimes crash after 1 game or maybe I can play 5 before it crashes or even sometimes it doesn't crash and ill be playing it for 2 hours.  I figured I fixed the above error by re installing the video driver (clean) but yet it crashed again.

I just purchased batman origins because it was 10 bucks on steam on weekend and went to play it today, I didnt even get to play the game and my PC crashed with the above error.  I rebooted went to play again and got to where I could do a benchmark of the FPS I get in game... got about 3 min in and then It crashed witht he same error again.

SO why does it not crash on CS:GO or Southpark but does on Titan Fall and batman? More GPU intese games? would it be the vid card? or the CPU?

Bugcheck 124 Error: WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR usually means a hardware issue. Do you have any overclocks on your system at all? If you do, reset back to optimized defaults. Also please provide me with the below information

Upload the actual crash dump files.

You will find the crash dump files inside C:\Windows\Minidump folder. To copy the dumps, disable "User Account Control" first. Otherwise you may receive a permission error. After disabling UAC, copy and zip all the dumps using 7-zip ( http://www.7-zip.org ). Either attach the zip with next reply using "More reply options --> Attach files" or use a free file hosting site.

For example -> http://www.mediafire.com/

Publish a snapshot of your system using Speccy

Please follow the below tutorial to know how to use "Speccy" to collect system info.

http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/t/323892/publish-a-snapshot-using-speccy/

Don't paste the output displayed by "Speccy" here. Instead paste the web link it displays.

 Minitoolbox log

Download "Minitoolbox" from the below link.

http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/download/minitoolbox/

Run the tool and only select the following tick boxes.

List last 10 Event viewer errors
List installed program
List users, partition and memory size
List Minidumps

Now click "Go" and post the output displayed in next reply.

You only had one crash dump file and that confirmed bugcheck 124. I feel that this is hardware related based on your system errors also. I see you also have some overclocking programs installed on the pc. Do you have an overclock on your cpu? or anything else on the system? Any tweaks at all, not just OC?

I had an over clock of 5% from the asrock MOBO but even when I took the OC off I get the crash.  The programs are there just to look at the temps and OC features... Dont use to OC, but I can uninstall if u think that could be an issue.

All I did was a CPU OC to 3 and stock is 2.8. No gpu OC nothing.  I have a 2 year warranty on the card but I dont know if its a hardware issue with the vid or just the CPU.

I changed out the memory and still same error.

http://www.mediafire.com/download/yl08upiac5auqm0

Updated minidump file... has about 5-6 dumps.

And when it crashes the monitor goes black says it cant detect a signal then reboots to the bios screen then back to windows if that makes a difference.

Ill check out those other crash dumps. The speccy report is still showing the cpu OC. Boot into bios and load optimized defaults for right now

So everything is back to defaults, all of your crash dumps reflect bugcheck 124. Your bios is up to date, so i would say this is hardware related. Any improvement after getting rid of the overclocks?

If you are still getting crashes after getting rid of the overclocks, i would first check memory. If not memory, we'll take a look at the cpu, but lets hope it was just the overclocks. I would uninstall the OC programs you have also just in case. If you want to monitor temps, etc. I use HWmonitor, or core temp. Keep me updated

I tried to load up batman then got the above error then tried to load it again and the computer restarted again.  Looked in system even viewer and received this:

A fatal hardware error has occurred.

Component: AMD Northbridge

Looking more and more like a hardware issue, could be something failing. cpu, ram, motherboard. Boot into bios, load optimized defaults and check to see that there are no manual settings for any tweaking, vcore, etc. Leave it all at auto. Then lets test the ram first using memtest86+

Method 2: With a CD

1. Download the latest version of the "Precompiled Boot ISO (.zip) from this link: Memtest86+ - Advanced Memory Diagnostic Tool

You want the "Precompiled Boot ISO (.zip)".

2. Open the .zip file you downloaded, and then drag the .ISO file inside onto the Desktop.

3. Right-click on the ISO, and select Open with>Windows Disc Image Burner.

4. Insert a blank CD into the CD drive, and make sure the correct Disc burner is selected.

5. Click on "Burn".

Now the CD is ready to use.

Part 2: Testing

1. With the CD in the drive, or the USB key inserted, reboot your computer. If Memtest does not automatically boot, go into the BIOS and change the CD drive or USB drive to be the first to boot.

2. Memtest will immediately start testing as soon as it boots. No attendance is needed.

3. Let it run until at least 7 passes are completed, or errors are found (whichever comes first). The longer you run it, the better.

Seven passes will take several hours, depending on your amount of RAM. It is advised to leave it running overnight.

Part 3: If You Have Errors:

The goal is to test all the RAM sticks and all the motherboard slots.

Check your motherboard manual to ensure the RAM sticks are in the recommended motherboard slots. Some motherboards have very specific slots required for the number of RAM sticks installed.

If you get errors, stop the test and continue with the next step.

1. Remove all but one stick of RAM from your computer (this will be RAM stick #1), and run Memtest86 again, for 7 passes.
Be sure to note the RAM stick, use a piece of tape with a number, and note the motherboard slot.

If this stick passes the test then go to step #3.

2. If RAM stick #1 has errors, repeat the test with RAM stick #2 in the same motherboard slot.
If RAM stick #2 passes, this indicates that RAM stick #1 may be bad. If you want to be absolutely sure, re-test RAM stick #1 in another known good slot.
If RAM stick #2 has errors, this indicates another possible bad RAM stick, a possible motherboard slot failure or inadequate settings.

3. Test the next stick of RAM (stick #2) in the next motherboard slot.

If this RAM stick has errors repeat step #2 using a known good stick if possible, or another stick.
If this RAM stick has no errors and both sticks failed in slot#1, test RAM stick #1 in this slot.

4. If you find a stick that passes the test, test it in all the other motherboard slots.

If Part 2 testing shows errors, and all tests in Part 3 show errors, you will need to test the RAM sticks in another computer and/or test other RAM in your computer to identify the problem.

In this way, you can identify whether it is a bad stick of RAM, a bad motherboard, or incompatibility between the sticks.
