Over the last week I have had the following window appear on my laptop screen approximately every five minutes:

'Windows cannot find 'release.exe'. Make sure you have typed the name correctly, then try again.'

I close the window and it reappears at regular 5 minute intervals.

I have run 'Kaspersky antivirus' and 'malwarebytes anti malware' but to no avail.

Can anyone help or perhaps point me in the right direction. If it is not a virus/malware any other suggestions?

I am no expert with computing and really do not know where to go from here......

Thank you in advance.
