This product, by Spinso, claims to be useful for freelancers doing time and expense billing.  I downloaded it yesterday and tried it, didn't like it, and tried to uninstall it.  Windows add/remove programs got this error:

Error opening installation log file.  Verify that the specified log file location exists and is writeable.

There's no error help on the vendor web site.  The vendor is in India.  I emailed them with a question but have gotten no response.  I searched the Internet on the program, trying to find help, and found a site which claims to offer an uninstaller for the thing; but it sounds so much like those people who phone you and say they're from Microsoft and they want to fix your computer that I hesitate to download the uninstaller.

Has anyone else run into this?  I have an awful feeling that just deleting the files won't be enough; they used an .msi file to install.  I run Malwarebytes quick scan daily and full scan once a week on Thursdays; the quick scan hasn't picked it up. I see no evidence that it's actually malignant but I want it gone.

Thanks very much, I'll give that a shot.  I actually heard from the vendor, who thinks using the Windows Add/Remove Programs tool should work.  Sigh.
