I could not find a good answer, but if there is a line in the Report for Firefox pref.js like
See attachment
Is Adwcleaner going to delete just a line in the file or the whole file.
Their site is in French and some english  and I could not find a "subject" about Adwcleaner to do it there.

AdwCleaner will delete the line and show in its log like this.

When first run AdwCleaner includes options under the tabs to show what was found and to allow disabling detections you want to keep since not all detections are necessarily bad. The only things you can't uncheck is Chrome and Firefox preferences lines but you still can view them in the "Chrome" and "Firefox" tab.
