Hello, not sure where to begine. How about thank you for having a site like this and volunteering to help. Unfortunately I didn't know about it before I did everything wrong lol. Trial by fire. All my computers are infected, my win8 tablet crashed due to my panicked deletion of files, an older pc that I turned on was infected within minutes right thru the firewall-I think you call it tunneling- and crashed so now it has winXP but I can't update or even add 'intrusion identifier' files to the factory pre-loaded norton firewall. Then I noticed my smart TV was sharing files, my logitech squeezebox internet player was operating on it's own (after disconnecting the ethernet cable) and the log files showed a bunch of applets, my roommate's chromecast was broadcasting to make a connection, pretty much for me a sci-fi scenario where electronics operate on their own unless powered off. Still not realizing the full nature of the problem, brought home a networked work laptop (on break so no one at work to talk to)  thinking if I didn't connect to the network in any way I'd be ok. I used it at work to download many of the tools I noticed on your site, thinking I'd use that to transfer to a USB and use the work laptop to communicate with you. Silly. The laptop connected itself without me, the rootkit operated even though I could clearly see the wireless adapter was disconnected. Firewall controlled by it, setting up new rules, etc.

Sooooo, I'm not sure where to begin. I can't imagine how to even update any device if it's constantly under seige, before I can even do anything about it. Ugh. I'm posting my PC dds because I have to start somewhere. But if I need something 'clean' to use to transfer files to the PC then maybe the interim work laptop? At this point I'd buy something.  Open to anything anyone has to offer. Attached File  dds home cpt.txt   10.58KB   1 downloadsAttached File  dds work laptop.txt   22.09KB   0 downloads

We need to see some information about what is happening in your machine. Please perform the following scan again:

  • Download DDS by sUBs from the following link if you no longer have it available and save it to your destop.

    DDS.com Download Link
  • Double click on the DDS icon, allow it to run.
  • A small box will open, with an explanation about the tool. No input is needed, the scan is running.
  • Notepad will open with the results.
  • Follow the instructions that pop up for posting the results.
  • Close the program window, and delete the program from your desktop.
Please note: You may have to disable any script protection running if the scan fails to run. After downloading the tool, disconnect from the internet and disable all antivirus protection. Run the scan, enable your A/V and reconnect to the internet.
