Hello all,

I have a question. Just recently I got Asrock 970 Extreme 4 and I transplanted a cpu to it. Upon testing it (with no Ram and GPU yet) I turn it on and  nothing but 5 second life from the CD drive but no beeps or nothing its didn't yell at me. Has anyone ever had this type of problem. I was very pre-cautious with the  stand-offs screws/motherboard  and I am going to try to figure out why its not posting tomorrow. I am hoping that isn't DOA motherboard Any ideas?

Install a stick of memory, reset the BIOS to factory default and try again.
