I am currently using Kaspersky Internet Security 2014 along with Malwarebytes 2 Premium is this any good?

That's a good reliable combination but I also recommend using SpywareBlaster and WinPatrol.

Short of setting up another machine with a firewall/+... It is the solution I would choose.
