Greetings experts,

I need your help with this Internet Explorer issue. OS is Windows 7 Home Premium.

The home page does not load and produces this message along with the script error pop-up.

"This website wants to run the following add-on: 'owsclt.dll' from Microsoft Corporation. If you trust the website and add-on and want to allow it to run, click here..."

Begin Script Error pop-up

An error has occurred in the script on the page.

Line:    15

Char:   2

Error:   Object doesn't support property or method

            'RedirectToLocalizedBand'

Code:   0

URL:     file:///C:/Program%20Files%20(x86)Microsoft%

             20Office/OFFICE11INTLBAND.HTM

Do you want to continue running scripts on this page?

                                             Yes/No

End Script Error pop-up

Thank you.

Hello

What version of IE are you running? Have you recently installed/uninstalled a version of office?

Thanks for responding. It's IE11. Have not re-installed Office. The "bigger" issue is that the Internet Options panel is missing some buttons. I can't change the homepage. Maybe I should have posted this in the "Virus..." forum, no?

Well, you're right on target. The owner had Office 2010 running and somehow installed Office 2003. Outlook 2003 icon was in the Office 2010 Start menu folder. I uninstalled Office 2003, rebooted, and all is well now running Office 2010. - Thanks for your efforts!
