I am using Macrium Reflect to clone 3 partitions from a failing disk to a new identical drive, and the process has been running for 12 hours. The first 2 partitions say clone complete successfully and the third current progress is 100% over all progress is only 8%. It seems to now be hanging at verify. Can I cancel the operation and still keep the cloned disk intact without losing data?

It has now been over 24 hours with no change, is there anyone out there that know anything about this issue and or what I can do?

If the hard drive is damaged...it may be impossible for Macrium Reflect or any other software to accesss/copy files.

I use Macrium Free so I can say from prior experience that what you describe can occur with a damaged hard drive.

Moving topic to Internal Hardware where the more knowledgeable can advise re alternatives.
