We are trying to restore an image of a Dell PowerEdge T710 server (that has failed) to a Dell PowerEdge T620 server. The old server had a PERC 5i raid card. New server has a PERC H310 card.

  • We have the backup image and have booted to the newest version of the Macrium Reflect Windows rescue environment.
  • We loaded the drivers for the PERC H310 RAID controller successfully when in the rescue environment.

But when we try to restore the image, we receive the message “No local disks to restore to”. There is a RAID5 array configured on the controller and visible on the 310 firmware.

Does the image include the partition structure? Acronis does this, but maybe the one you used doesn't? You might have to diskpart it again so the disk 0 is the hidden 100mb reserved space and disk 1 is the rest of the array.
