I'm having the following problems:

-My computer flickers every few seconds. It stopped doing it for the moment.

-Resolution/colors got worse. Like it went half into safe-mode.

-My computer thinks it is in dual monitor mode even when I have it off the docking station and on my laptop itself. I would post a picture but my Paint and Word applications can't be shown because they're on the phantom second monitor.

I already made sure that it isn't set up in dual-monitor mode. Help!

Nope, came really out of nowhere. It happened right after I undocked it one day. It's 3 years old.

Have you checked your setting?

Control panel>Hardware and Sound>Display>Adjust Screen resolution

check resolution, then advance setting > monitor >refresh rate.

Next thing to do would be updating the driver. Trying to increase the refresh rate.

It somehow set itself to 60 herz now. However, the flickering has come back again. About every once second the computer screen "blinks" and goes black. Also, when I open a program like Microsoft Word or OneNote, it looks like I have booted it up in safe mode. Example: http://imgur.com/zwE0XiS (couldn't get the flickering unfortunately).

How would I update the driver?

The flickering is back, and with a vengeance. It looks like someone is like placing a magnet up against the screen or something. Anyone have any thoughts?

from you speecy report it's shown that your CPU temperature was 76 C, that was not good for notebook to get high temperature like that in a long time, it's better to do some cleaning on it

could you read this Lenovo article T410 / T420 - Screen flickering randomly / screen contrast changed while on battery (Intel GPU) try a it and tell what happen?

I got through the first few steps, but then when I go to click on graphic properties, the icon shows up down below in the menu thing, but when I click on it, it will not show up. It's invisible. And i'm currently on dual monitors.

Should I try cleaning my laptop fan or something?
