Nvidia and ATI cards

Is a 128mb Nvidia video card equivalant to a 128mb ATI card?

up until now ATI has always blown nvidea out of the water. Now Nvidea has taken a slight edge over ATI. Only in drivers though. I have always bought and will always buy ATI. The new x800xt is one of the best cards out there. If your going to get a descent card you can get one with 128 megs of ram but get one that is 256 bit. But to answer your question NO. as shibby said it depends on the card..the cards manufacter..is it a 128 bit card is it a 256 bit card..what band-with does the card have allot of things come into play! Not all 2 cards are alike
