Any way to know if the plugins or themes that I install have malicious codes in them? I want to protect myself better as my site has recently been hacked and I believe it was from a plugin that I installed. =/

Can you tell us which version of Wordpress you are running, and which plugins plus their version?

It's common for WP installations to be hacked through vulnerable versions of WP or plugins.
