Never know what you are going to get when you boot it up.  Sometimes the screen is so washed you can hardly read the text.  Then all of the sudden it is quite clear.  When the colors are inverted it is very clear and sharp.  Then it will flash from inverted to washed out several times.  The screen is not cracked or broken.  When I hook it up to a external monitor the colors are fine. Computer works fine except for the colors.  ANY thoughts?????   Thank you in advance.  Don

If you're lucky you just jogged the panel connection to the system board.  If you're not lucky you damaged it or the panel.  But, this is a hardware issue and the machine will have to be disassembled to check the panel connection.  I'd recommend pulling and reconnecting the panel connection.

If you want to check the connection/s of the display you can view a video to see how this is done.
