Gang - I have a Vista system I cleaned up for a user/owner - its running well, comes up clean, etc after a bout with malwares

The one remaining item is recovery of the default/embedded programs.  I recreated the browser links and added-in software which is minimal - MS Works.

But the usual menus are all hidden even after trying your excellent Unhide program both in normal mode and in Safe Mode.  Nothing changed.

any ideas short of a reinstall?
