For ther past week or so I've been attempting to install .net framework on my comp and I always make it to a certain point in the installation and then I get an error message that pops up that says "error 2908". Can anyone tell me what the cause of this might be?

Found the below, give it a shot

Err Msg: Internal Error 2908 installing .Net Framework

.Net has already been installed once and some of the components are still on the system.

Solution: Remove the Mscoree.dll from the windows\system32 directory. Then restart you computer.

Might want to leave that file in the trashcan for now though.
