Hi,

I went to log into my Yahoo mail the other day, I'm running Vista 64 bit on a Dell laptop. When I clicked on the "User Name" my regular email address was there but there was an entirely Different one that scares me. It's titled hammondinstall@yahoo.com and has a pre populated password.(hammond was my unmarried name)

Needless to say I did not open it, even tho my curiosity was killing me. I don't know why this email is there but it most certainly sounds suspicious to me!!

Has anybody ever heard of this and know what it is? How do I get rid of it? I'm afraid to even go into my real emai now from my computer. Everything seems ok with my email on my ipad and iphone.

Thank you!!

Nan

Hi it appears that no one knows a direct solution.. So, to figure it out we should get a deeper look. Please follow this Preparation Guide, do steps 6,7 and 8 and post in a new topic.
Let me know if all went well.
How do I get help? Who is helping me?For the time will come when men will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear....Become a BleepingComputer fan: Facebook
