I mistakenly installed installconverter, and I really don't remember how it happened, but I am guessing I didn't uncheck something. Anyways, the browsers are freezing up. I have the little highlighted and underlined words on every page. I tried uninstall through control panel but it wouldn't delete. I tried killing it with Spybot, and it couldn't do it. I tried shredding it with spybot and nothing. I scanned with Super AntiSpyware, and my antivirus. Side note, my keyboard was having issues a week or so ago, to where I would type but some of the keys weren't produced on screen. I took the keyboard off and only put it back on today with no issues so far. So, I am concerned I may have gotten a nasty bit of malware or something. Please help. I was testing online and it froze in the middle of my test so this is a serious issue for me. Thank you!

Also, a window would open in the next tab for a game, that I had never seen before. Or I would click on something on the page and it would open in the next tab.

Do you have Revo uninstaller?  If not you can find it down loads on this board, it is worth trying if you can see the program in the line up.

I downloaded it, but now I can't find the file, and control panel said it doesn't exist and let me remove it from the list. I don't know what to think, except that I may have been a bit premature posting this issue... If not for the fact I still had difficulty clicking into this box, and the mouse blinks a lot. Thank you though. :)

It was not in the down loads folder?

I downloaded it, but now I can't find the file...

Did you do a search for the file? You can redownload and just save the file to your desktop.

I'm sorry I wasn't clear, the installconverter file is gone. :bananas: I don't know, but I think spybot must've done it's job, I just thought I would see some evidence that it had done it..  I appreciate the tips, and will share if anything strange pops up. Thanks for your time.
