Not sure if I'm in the right place to get help with this or not...  After looking at the internet, I see that I'm having a very common problem.  However, there are no good solutions posted anywhere.  I need to make a dvd from an avi file.  (Not just burn the avi file to a DVD, but make an actual dvd out of the file.)  Windows Live Movie Maker should do this.  But, every time I attempt to do so, it stops at 99% with no meaningful explanation as to why it fails.  Where might I go to find help?

My topic should read "Windows Live Movie Maker", not "DVD Makes".

Hello abauw, I found a site that recommended using DVDFLICK.NET

And, I was able to successfully burn the dvd using DVDFLICK.  Thank you for writing back to me.  But, I think I have a resolution.  It appears the 99% error is very common (when attempting to make a DVD using Windows Live Movie Maker) based on all the complaints I've seen on the internet.  I appreciate your help!
