Desktop refreshing every 30 seconds

My desktop has started refreshing approximately every 30 seconds therefore stopping any work from happening. No programs have been downloaded and the last update was several days ago.

Try system restore back before the update. You can allow the update again.


There have been a few issues with this last round.


edit: if you can't do this normally, restart in safe mode with command prompt, type "rstrui" on the command prompt and enter. Restore from there.
