Hi all, I'm new, I hope someone can help me out on this.

I bought my computer in 2011 during the summer, I actually bought all the hardware pieces and assembled it myself into a case.

5-6 months ago, the computer started 'squeezing', I don't know exactly how to call it this..

Basically it stops working for 2 seconds and he made a sounds on the speakers like 'zzzzrrrrrr'.

I think this is because of my Hard Disk, a Samsung HD103SJ of 1 TB.

My disk is divided in 2 partitions, one of 800 GB that I use for my data and the other one, of 130 GB, that I use for Windows 7.

This problem started happening much more when I upgraded my Internet connection from 7 Mega to 20 Mega.

And right now it's really annoying because it happens 5-6 time per hour.

And every time that happens, it slows my PC like hell.

If I am downloading something, the speed goes from 2 Mbps to like 100 Kbps for some minutes..

What can I do to resolve this? Change my Hard Disk and buy a SSD?

Because I don't have the money to change all the computer right now.

Last thing, last time I formatted, was November 2012.

Looking at your Speccy readings, you seem to have a cooling problem. Speccy says your CPU is running at 94C. The specs for your processor suggest Tmax of 72.5C. The specs are for the CPU case temperature, it is possible that the Speccy reading is being taken from some internal part of the processor which would give a higher temperature, but in any case you are up very near or over the upper temperature limit.

Switch the computer off. Take the side off the case, switch on and check all the fans are working. Switch off. If there are any fan problems, repair them. Then, taking normal anti-static precautions, check the fans and heatsink assemblies for dust and dirt. Clean if necessary. Put the side back on and use the computer for an hour or so and check Speccy for the CPU temperature. It will hopefully be below 70C.

If it is still showing around 85 - 90C, then you will have to replace the thermal compound between the CPU heatsink and the CPU.

Remove the CPU fan and heatsink, clean the bottom surface of the heatsink and the top surface of the CPU. The ideal cleaning materials are a soft rag and iso-propyl alchohol, but it is  more important to clean off all traces of old compound. Then put a thin, even smear of thermal paste across the whole of ONE of the faces and replace the heatsink and fan. Make sure you reconnect the fan's electrical connection and that the fan is running.

You can buy heatsink compound in any electronics store and it is widely available on-line. Look for 'heatsink compound' or 'thermal paste'.

I cleaned all the dust and dirt from the heatsink and now the temperature on Speccy is below 50°C.

But that thing, that annoying freez is still happening, it's basically impossible to download and watch or doing something at the same time, because it freeze all the time..making that weird sound on the speakers.

Also, the computer really slows down when I'm downloading something, I can clearly see that because even the mouse cursor it's slow..

I use Chrome. Usually he use 1GB of Ram, sometimes  could be 800MB, sometimes 1,3 GB.

But it happens even when I am not downloading or using the browser, the only difference is that it happens much less.

*almost forget, do you have updated chrome to latest version?

Yes of course.

I was wrong, I tried to stress the PC using a lot of programs without doing any internet activity at it didn't freeze even once.

This after I cleaned the dust from the heat sink.

So why this still happens when I am using Chrome or even when Chrome is not running but I am only downloading?

just to make sure, please do some test.

could you check that you have the lastest version of chrome and make sure that you disabled build in flash.
if you have lastest version and disable build in flash could you try to run chrome in incognito mode, does it still freeze?
and the lastest thing, could you check your which version of Realtek Audio Driver? if it under R 2.71 please update it.

I updated the Realtek Audio Driver to R 2.73 (was R 2.51), then I updated the Intel Graphics Drivers to one released 5 months ago (mine was old 3 years).

Disabled the build in flash and tried and tried the incognito mode.

Nothing. It started freezing 10 seconds after I started the computer again and run Chrome..

But even if it was a Chrome problem, how it is possible that when Chrome it's not running, it's still freeze when I am downloading something with any download manager/Torrent?

Reinstall Chrome...

Close all Chrome windows and tabs.
Go to the Start menu > Control Panel. (Windows 8 users:Learn how to access the Control Panel
    Click Programs and Features.
    Double-click Google Chrome.
Click Uninstall from the confirmation dialog. Delete your user profile information, like your browser preferences, bookmarks, and history, by selecting the "Also delete your browsing data" checkbox.

Please run these scans in the order listed

Copy and Paste the logs in your reply...(separate replies is ok)

Then :  Please download Rkill (courtesy of BleepingComputer.com) to your desktop.
There are 2 different versions. If one of them won't run then download and try to run the other one.
You only need to get one of these to run, not all of them. You may get warnings from your antivirus about this tool,  If you get a message that RKill is an infection, do not be concerned. This message is just a fake warning given by the infection when it terminates programs that may potentially remove it. If you run into these infections warnings that close RKill, a trick is to leave the warning on the screen and then run RKill again. By not closing the warning, this typically will allow you to bypass the malware trying to protect itself so that RKill can terminate the Infection that we are attempting to get rid of. So, please try running RKill until the malware is no longer running. You will then be able to proceed with the rest of the guide. Do not reboot your computer after running RKill as the malware programs will start again.

rKill.exe: http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/download/rkill/dl/10/http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/download/rkill/dl/10/
iExplore.exe (renamed rKill.exe): http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/download/rkill/dl/11/

* Double-click on the Rkill desktop icon to run the tool.
* A black DOS box will briefly flash and then disappear. This is normal and indicates the tool ran successfully.
* If not, delete the file, then download and use the one provided in Link 2.
* Do not reboot until instructed.
* If the tool does not run from any of the links provided, please let me know.

Please Copy, and Paste the resulting log in your reply.
