Hello, wonder if anyone can help. My network is being spammed to death by an external email address using our exchange server to send 1000s of emails out via our server. This has got us blocked by several sites and causing a huge issue.

I have scanned all PCs on the network for viruses and malware but all clean, so how can this be happening??

Can anyone help??

sounds like the server is infected...

or your malware hunting attempts are not conclusive. More likely this.

Monitor the server network adaptor with Wireshark http://www.wireshark.org/ or TCPView, http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/bb897437.aspx

When you think you have identified the malware use SocketSniff, http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/socket_sniffer.html for in-depth analysis.
