I'm trying to get this printer to work with win7 although HP only supports it up to vista. Was able to install a good driver by using dot4 001 port and laserjet 3055pcl5 (Microsoft) but it only worked temporarily before reverting back to printing a blank pagefor some reason. Also deleted files in c: > windows > sys32 > spool > printers. Any ideas why it's not sticking?

Did you change from vectorized graphic to raster in options?

In addition to the driver you installed, some people have had luck editing the Vista driver for your printer.

Thanks John,

The power cycling every so often will hopefully do the trick, along with switching to raster. At least temporarily until I get another printer.
