I was watching an instructional video on how to build a wooden picnic table w/built in cup/bottle holders.  This problem has also happened with other videos. The audio/video pauses, starts up and runs for awhile and starts and stops again and so on through the video. It doesn't happen all the time but most of the time.  I have viewed the buffering status and it is ahead of the video.

Any help or suggestions would be great

OK,  it didn't work.  I couldn't get passed "Copy to Clipboard".  It would hang up there.  Just freeze.  Another thing happened.  when you gave me your instructions I copied and tried to paste to Microsoft Word. I wanted to print them out so I could read along and follow your instructions.  Well, when I tried paste them to Word it crashed and went to a Blue Screen.  I read it but couldn't make any sense of it but it had some Tec. Data on there and here it is (0xC000000S,ox805733CA,0xF6850AB0,0x00000000).  May be you can make some sense out of it.  I tried it this way and I think I got it.  What do you think ?

Well, I keep getting hung up at "copy to clipboard".  In that box "open to browser" is highlighted but I click on "copy to clipboard" as per your instructions.  That is as far as I can get.  I hope this means something to you.  I am lost.

Thanks, it will take me a few minutes to review  the data.

A system with 1GB of RAM...just doesn't have very much resource power for doing anything beyond surfing and other simple tasks, IMO.

I would uninstall McAfee Security Scan

I would uninstall Uniblue Registry Booster.

Microsoft support policy for the use of registry cleaning utilities - http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2563254

Registry cleaner - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Registry_cleaner

Registry Cleaner FAQ, PC Support - http://pcsupport.about.com/od/registry-cleaner/a/registry-cleaner-faq.htm

I would uninstall Microsoft Choice Guard.

I would uninstall US Tech Support and add a cautionary note.  Per Should I Remove It:

"What is US Tech Support Framework?

US Tech Support Framework is a toll free technical support hotline that is designed to provide some level of technical assistance for a one-time or subscription plan. The software is 100% optional and typically bundled and installed with products from the publisher such as PC optimization tools including MyCleanPC and MaxMySpeed."

My (IMO) caution:  Anytime that you use something like this...you have no idea what is done to your system.  My premise is that doing so almost certainly results in a continuation of "problems" and a dependency on the seller of such "services."  I would never suggest these types of businesses to any person owning a computer.

If you take the steps I've suggested above...then run the chkdsk /r command...then run the sfc /scannow command....let us know how the system then runs.

Louis

Well, as usaul I'm lost.  Can't figure out how to do a chkdsk/r or a sfc/scannow.  I Googled both and sfc/scannow says to hit START and hit search and enter COMMAND.  Well my START >SEARCH> says programs, videos ,files, and so on.   There is no place to type COMMAND.  Now if I hit RUN and type COMMAND it still does nothing.  It is, my brain isn't wrong right or the instructions are incorrect.  Probally both !!!!!!!!

Would mind going to your cpu hitting START>SEARCH> and see where to type COMMAND.  and let me know what you come up with.

I would be very thankfull,

http://www.w7forums.com/threads/how-to-use-chkdsk-check-disk.448/ , but when you get to the part where you select options...put check marks in both "Scan for" and "Automatically fix" boxes.

Run The System File Checker Tool
