HI!

I haven't been able to figure out how to do this either. I'm dropping Opera.

to answer my own question:

https://www.howtogeek.com/136116/how-to-easily-back-up-and-migrate-your-browser-bookmarks/

the above page gives detailed explanation to do it using the help of an extension for opera:

https://addons.opera.com/en/extensions/details/bookmarks-import-export/?display=en

but it flattens the folder-structure.

till the developers of opera make it a built-in feature without loss of the folder-structure, i am dumping opera for good, no matter how many 'groundbreaking' features they add to opera. sorry opera :(
