It is nearly impossible to load windows 7 normally on my computer. It takes very long to get to the password screen, and then after typing in my password, it takes even longer to load to my desktop; sometimes not even at all, only a black screen. In addition, my monitor occasionally has a purple tint to it. This all suddenly occurred one day after shutting down my computer when my browser and task manager became non responsive. I then turned it back on to see my computer "configuring windows updates." This lasted over an hour. After that completed, it has become nearly impossible to load windows normally. I've already booted into safe mode and ran a full scan of malware bytes which displayed no threats. Startup repair and system restore also didn't seem to help. Any help is appreciated, thanks in advance!
