Hello!

Everytime I open youtube, I am redirected to a page with a pckeeper advertisement. The youtube page opens, but this other page also opens simultaneously and I have also noted some wierd activity on my browser (firefox). Pages closing alone, the entire browser closes alone, and other things.

I have already read the entire post on this problem posted here and answered by Gringo, and tried some of the removal/cleaning tool, but the problem persists.

Can you help? Am I infected?

Thanks in advance,

:thumbup2:

Hello your link to the gringo topic is not there, so I cannot see what you have run.

In FireFox it may be the Add ons/Plugins. First look for unknown add ons or PCKeeper and disable. Or
Try disabling them one at a time and see which one was at fault.

This is the link.

I eventually googled the problem again and found some answers. Yes, it seems to be a plugin. I reset all my browsers and the problem has disappeared. If it reappears, I´ll post a new thread. Thanks.
