Are you using a Dell keyboard with your Dell Desktop? The FN key is not available on all brands of keyboards and is more typically found on laptops due to their keyboard size restrictions.

There are suggestions in this Dell discussion topic.

Thank you.

Yes, my Desktop is Dell Dimension 8400, and it does not have FN key.

The discussion topic has solutions but none are applicable to my situation.  The key cannot be added to the keyboard. Need a way to access functionality of FN key.

FN function is mostly for laptops because of their smaller keyboards, what are you trying to do?

You can always replace your existing keyboard with one that includes an FN Key.
